How It Works

A clear five-step process

No surprises, no pressure. Here is exactly what happens from your first call to a finished, verified install.

Scheduling a home energy inspection in southern Utah

Step 1

Schedule your inspection

You call or send the form, and we set up your free home energy inspection at a time that works for your schedule. There is no cost and no obligation — the call is just the start of a conversation.

When we schedule, we let you know roughly how long the inspection will take so you can plan your day around it.

Step 2

The home energy-efficiency inspection

This is the heart of the process. Here is what gets inspected: the attic, ducts, airflow, and visible air leaks. We use thermal imaging and pressure testing to pinpoint where your home loses energy.

We are looking for where conditioned air escapes, where insulation is thin or compressed, and where the ducts lose air before it reaches the room. The point is to find the cause of a high bill — so the work we recommend fixes the real problem.

Step 3

Custom recommendations and a quote

After the inspection, you get a prioritized plan — not a sales pitch.

01

We assess the findings

Every issue the inspection turned up goes into one picture of how your home performs.

02

We prioritize the work

You get a ranked list — what to fix first for the biggest effect on your bill.

03

We quote it transparently

Each recommended item comes with a clear price. No pressure, no padding.

04

You decide

Do all of it, some of it, or none of it. The inspection carries no obligation.

Step 4

Professional installation

Our trained technicians do the work on the timeline we gave you in the quote. We install CertainTeed Insulsafe SP loose-fill fiberglass and complete whatever sealing or ventilation work the plan calls for.

When the crew finishes, they clean up the work area. The attic and your home are left as they found them — minus the energy loss.

Step 5

Verification and your warranty

The job is not finished when the crew leaves — it is finished when the work is verified and your warranty is in place.

If settling occurs, your home will receive a full replacement at no cost. Insulation is hidden the moment it goes in — this is how we stand behind work you cannot see.

Common questions

Questions about the process

How long does an inspection take?

A home energy-efficiency inspection typically takes a couple of hours, depending on the size of the home and how accessible the attic and ductwork are. We use thermal imaging and pressure testing rather than rushing — the goal is an accurate picture, not a quick quote.

Is the inspection really free, and am I obligated?

The home energy inspection is free, and there is no obligation. We inspect the home, explain what we find, and give you a quote. Whether you move forward is entirely your decision — calling us does not commit you to anything.

Do I need to be home for the work?

It helps to be home for the inspection so we can ask about the rooms that feel too hot or too cold and talk through what we find. For the installation itself, our crew can often work with minimal disruption — we will set expectations with you when we schedule.

How long does the installation take?

Most insulation and sealing jobs are completed in a day, though larger or multi-service projects can take longer. When we provide your quote, we also give you a realistic timeline so you know what to expect before the crew arrives.
