Insulation rebates in Utah: federal credit and utility program
Two kinds of savings can apply to a southern Utah insulation project — the federal 25C tax credit and a Rocky Mountain Power insulation rebate — and they can be combined.
Federal 25C tax credit
The 25C credit (Inflation Reduction Act) lowers your income tax for qualifying insulation and air-sealing upgrades. It reduces what you owe at tax time — the amount depends on the work and current federal rules.
Rocky Mountain Power insulation rebate
Rocky Mountain Power runs an efficiency rebate program that can apply to qualifying insulation work. Dixie Power’s current rebates cover heat pumps and electrical-service upgrades, not insulation. We confirm what fits your address at inspection.
